Much like humans, animals do not appreciate it
when you bug them. It’s because of this that there are usually workers
when you go to the zoo or the aquarium that will warn you not to tap the
glass or harass the animals.
However, that doesn’t mean everyone likes to listen. When one ranger tries to get the attention of a leopard, his actions result in a terrifying response from the large cat. Proving that if you’re going to bug a carnivorous cat, you better be prepared for the consequences.

The clip comes from a
segment from Animal Planet and it shows a group of people as they come
across a leopard that had previously been preying on their farm animals.
Worried that they would become the predator’s next meal, they decided
to capture it, traveling to the African Savanna to set the animal free.
They were likely thinking that when they opened the cage, the animal
would go off on its own and be free but it didn’t.
The leopard stayed
exactly where it was, refusing to move. Becoming anxious at the lack of
action from the fierce feline, one of the men began to tap on the cage,
hoping to motivate it to move. He was successful, but not in the way he
imagined as he found himself on the wrong side of an angry leopard.
The cat began growling
at the man out of fierce rage, he began bearing his razor sharp teeth
in an aggressive move that will certainly ensure the man never taps on a
leopard cage again. Knowing that he’s in a precarious position, the man
then jumps back inside his vehicle but it’s too late, the leopard has
already emerged and he is angry.

In what has to be one of the most fear inducing
things a person could experience, the man has to think fast while the
large cat makes its way over to him, surely moments from tearing into
the man. The leopard lunges forward, pouncing at the driver’s window but
the man grabs the handle and tries to up the window before it can
strike.
However, unfortunately for
him, in all of his chaos and confusion, he mistakenly beings to roll the
window down. This poorly timed mistake gives the leopard time to leap
right into the man’s lap, getting inside the vehicle as well as a chance
for vengeance.
The large cat perches
on the window of the driver’s seat, repeatedly slashing at the man, a
computer generated recreation showing just how close the two came. The
man then goes into instinct mode, kicking the leopard in the stomach and
forcing it out the window. The ranger did manage to survive the attack
but sustained severe slashes.
